At some point this summer, Mike and I visited a local park, Las Palmas Park. I used to drive by the place all the time when I lived near the area – regrettably I did not take any photos of the fountains, which always intrigued me… there were too many kids roaming about that day, but very few people at the back end of the park, so Mike and I explored and walked around there.
I was a fan of the purple leaves and pink flowers. So pretty!
There was a mini baseball field setup going on at one end of the park – no one playing, though.
To mix my metaphors, it’s the little house at the end of the tunnel!

I really liked this picture of the tree. It’s just a huge tree at the end of the park, standing all by itself. It reminded me of the bodhi tree, Siddhartha, and all that Buddha stuff.
